Lilian is an Oakdale resident, and graduated with a BA and MA in Art Education from Adelphi University. Her new work of Sea and Landscape images, a combination of handcolored oriental papers and watermedia is rendered utilizing special techniques. The Collages, Mixed Media and Monotypes are somehow a little abstract yet all recognizable. The excellent compositions express the many moods of nature, always changing and evolving. Lilian's palette varies from those exciting, warm, vibrant colors, to the cool and peaceful ones. All convey the artist inspiration and aim: to generate special feelings and emotions to the viewer, as the Contemporary Artist experiences via her art. Deeply and personal interpretations of the subjects results in a delightful exhibition. |
