Carolyn's work has been favorably reviewed in many articles in the New York Times and Mrs. Harrington's paintings themselves have received numerous accolades.  Articles about Carolyn and her paintings have also appeared in other local newspapers. In 1997 she was honored by the Town of Islip, New York, for her contributions in art.  She has won numerous ribbons and awards for her oils, watercolors and monoprints, including 1st place in Oil and Watercolor and Best of Show.  Her paintings are in private and business collections in the USA and abroad.
